Meet The Team
Stuart
Stuart joined the practice in 1992, and has been principal dentist since 1996. He has always had a keen interest in Cosmetic Dentistry, aiming always to develop his techniques in a "non-invasive" way. Stuart achieved his diploma in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry in 2009 and his Masters Degree again in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry in 2010. Stuart strives to find solutions to the problems that his patients have in ways that suit them, that give the best and healthiest outcomes.
Emma
Emma is our Dental Hygienist and Therapist and has worked at Horwich Dental Care Centre since 2009. Emma provides a wide range of treatments from treating gum problems to scales and polishes and from fillings to tooth whitening , she also sees all our child patients for their routine dental care. Emma is fully trained in facial aesthetics and rejuvenatation treatments such as wrinkle relaxing and dermal fillers. If you feel the need for a little refreshing she will be happy to see you for a free consultation.
Paula
Paula has worked at Horwich Dental Care Centre since 2009 and is likely to be the first person you meet when you visit us. She is our Assistant Manager and Receptionist. Paula qualified as a dental nurse in 2001 and has achieved several qualifications since in conscious sedation, oral health and radiography.
Janet
Janet is Stuart's Dental Surgery Assistant and has worked with him since 1992. Her relaxed, open character and extensive experience are invaluable assets helping our patients to feel at home during their visits.
David
David has worked at Horwich Dental Care Centre since July 2009 ands has been our Practice Manager since September 2010. It is David's role to ensure that our practice runs efficiently and to the greatest benefit of our patients. He makes sure that the service our patients benefit from continues at the highest levels and that all our staff are fully trained and regularly updated.
David has a B.A.(Hons) Business Studies and has worked for several national companies.
Alexis
Alexis qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1995 and has worked at Horwich Dental Care Centre for 13 years. She is currently working part-time as our Reception Manager after gaining her Advanced BTEC qualification in reception management.
Dani
Dani qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1993 and has worked for us at Horwich Dental Care Centre since 1996. She worked full time as Dr Haltons nurse but now works part time, but in a more varied role, often assisting Stuart with his Saturday cosmetic appointments.
Leah
Leah qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2004 and has worked at Horwich Dental Care Centre since 2006. Leah works in various roles in the practice from assisting in all apects of our treatments to helping to run reception. She is currently studying for her Certificate in Radiography that will qualify her to take x-rays.
